LCHS Baseball Results from 4/15

Game one - Labette 3 Columbus 2.
Game two - Labette 9 Columbus 3.

"Braden Anderson really battled on the hill.
He kept us in a position to win.
We played better defense behind him
and that always gives a pitcher confidence.
Will Owens and Klein Ryan made some nice plays behind BA. Parker Grant keeps getting better behind the plate. Yanni hit the ball well tonight in game one. Parker and Westin Myers came up with a big hits in the bottom of the 7th to set the table for Yanni to drive in the winning runs. Westin seems to always make something good happen with his at bats.
He provides excellent senior leadership.

In the second game, we put the ball in play and some good things happened. Parker is starting to swing the bat pretty well and that is a plus for our offense, so is Kyle O'Connor. Blake had a great game. He pitched well and came up with a big knock when we needed it. Still, the highlights of the evening were the fine defensive plays made by Will Owens and Klein Ryan! The kids played some good baseball tonight and it was a lot fun.
